We are a certified Organic Blueberry Farm located in Hood River, Oregon, U.S.A.

We are dedicated to the organic production of Spartan, Bluecrop, Aurora and Chandler Blueberry. Blueberry production is from late June through mid October, beginning with the Spartan Blueberry and finishing in October with the Aurora Berry. Preparation for the year begins in late February as we prune and fertilize to prepare the plants for spring blossom.

At the end of production we prepare the plants for winter in November, applying organic compost to the ground to prepare the plants for the cold winter months.

Hood River Blueberry is an USDA Organic grower certified by Oregon Tilth, as we expand our blueberry production we will continue to produce the best blueberry with dedication to the advancement of organic farming.

It takes a lot of work to grow a special berry.

First you start with great workers, great plants, great soil and a great irrigation system.

Then you let Mother Nature and that volcanic soil work their magic.

Now the hard part… you must carefully pick the berries without putting them in your mouth.

That last job is harder than you might think.

Mmmm mmm. I like mine with just a little splash of cream!

Then it is time to get the plants ready for winter. We make sure they stay safe and warm so they can make more berries in the summer.
